Hammerdown presents:
Hammerdown Festival 2025
Hammerdown Festival is back for its 7th edition, this time at the biggest venue we've ever hosted it with, the fantastic Chalk in Brighton. This year, a second stage has been added at Dust, meaning even more rock and metal for you all. 36 bands, 2 days, 2 stages, and NO CLASHES!
Featured bands: On Saturday July 19th, New Wave Of British Heavy Metal legends Demon and Tygers Of Pan Tang head up a huge lineup. Both bands have sold thousands of records and appeared in the mainstream album charts, and with 14 and 13 albums released respectively, they show no sign of letting up. If you want even more legends, we're bringing you Gypsy's Kiss, the band originally formed by Steve Harris of Iron Maiden, and David Smith, who brought the band back to life in 2018 after Maiden fans has spent years searching for the music from this mythical predecessor to one of Britain's biggest ever bands. Gypsy's Kiss are using Hammerdown to release their brand new album, Piece By Piece.
On Sunday 20th, we feature heavier music, headed up by two rapidly rising groups in the name of The Raven Age and Dream State. Over on our second stage, death metal's best self-deprecating comedy geniuses Raised By Owls, off the back of some major slots such as an appearance on Bloodstock's main stage. Other notable names on the Sunday include Brighton's very own Bleed Again, veterans of many major shows including headlining a stage at Download Festival to over 10,000 attendees, and The Five Hundred, who's latest album Ghostwriter is a masterclass in modern metalcore.
